so instead of trying to cut costs...i keep finding things that i want to upgrade in all of our packages...
the latest thing is our dj package. we booked a very basic dj package cuz we dont want a clubish feel with a ton of lights...and we only did a 1 man dj/mc. however, last night i told him 'maybe we should get morelights and a percussionist and uplighting and and MC'
he just looks at me like im crazy...

my fiance is going to kill me too..ive already spent 30k of our budget and my wedding is still a year away lol...all i have to book is a dj/band. we both really want a band but its soo expensive. and im unemployed currently . o jeez lol

LoL we can definitely relate!
I think we end up spending more money the further away we book our wedding. There is so much time to keep adding things on and to see more things that we want. I should get a reward for self-control (so far!)

oh gosh....i know!!! I keep thinking about all the upgrades i want buuuttt in order to stay out of trouble we're going to book basic packages and then add things in when we get closer to the wedding and see what our money situation is then

I can def relate especially with the DJ I am going thru the same thing right now. I want to do uplighting by the bar and upgrade the lights. We already had a percussionist in our package.

Thats the best thing about FH not knowing what is booked for the wedding, so if i add things on its totally ok, he has no idea as long as i stay within our budget-i'm soo sneaky

I do the samthing last week I said if I have the extra money I would like whatever for the wedding FH was like NOOO any extra money goes toward our house
