FH JOB?

FH JOB?

Ok I was just wondering. My FH has been great in the wedding planning.. He comes along with everything. But I was wondering did u girls give your FH any specific job to be in charge of. Like mine is taking care of Limos and Honeymoon. What about you girls?

Tuxes, groomsmen gifts, not sure what else at this point but he is great also, I feel so lucky!

HA HA that's the easiest part, they can't mess that up, I was thinking limos but we really want to do everything together since is an experience we will never forget!

I told him to CALL about limos, since he has a specific car he wants... it hasn't happened yet. He goes to all the appointments and is great about that, but in terms of him taking the initiative to do something, its not going to happen.

Call and make appointments with DJs, research the honeymoon and find us a place to live. If he proves himself after this, maybe the tuxes and limos! LOL

I don't expect him to know anything about calla lilies or hydrangea, and I don't think he even knows what calligraphy means so I tried to keep it easy for him...

ETA:: Oh and he has come with me on every meeting so far.

He is supposed to be in charge of limos and dj but seeing hwo those are like the only two vendors we have left to book...I tink I may fire him.

He's def in charge of tuxes and the guy's gifts. I'll prob also need him to head-up the HM planning, he'll be good at that. And since music is so important to him I made picking the DJ his responsiblity. I think he made a great choice so I can trust him with the other stuff!!!

I have not really thought about giving him a job. He probably won't want the responsibility of something going wrong or me not likeing what he has done, b/c then he'll be giving me the opportunity to blame him for it. :LOL: :LOL:

Nothing! All on me but he is there to help make decisions. He is a cop who really dosent have the time and honestly I can rely on him and worry.

His job is to be nice, and say yes when needed.

Limos and he did all the negotiating with everything!

I picked the limo company BTW he just picked the actual limos ( with help from me )
In his defense he went to see limo companies on his own but ran out of there when he saw the condition/smell/look of most of the cars.

At thsi point he is in charge of groomsmen stuff and tux's...we are trying to do everything else together. Fo course, I do most of the research and talk it over with him. Then we book things together

Haha sometimes I feel like I'll be marrying my mom... heheh since she has been w/ me to bands/photographers, and all the reception halls. Its hard b/c I live in NJ and fiance is in NY so we can't really do anything together. i wish we had this time though, I think it woul be more exciting.. He'll probably do just the tuxes i'm assuming and hopefully help with the honeymoon.

he called to make appts for the hall and photographers. now his job is to call the hall can change the ch from 6:30 to 7. he called and we were supposted to get a call back, no biggie, but i reminded him yesterday and you think he called???
