FH JOB?

We decided last night that he will definitely not be given a job and we will do everything together. I think that's the whole point of planning a wedding, this way you can spend more time together and make the work of planning a wedding fun!!!

His job??

It's too give me money!!!!!


Honestly, I do all of the work and then run it by FH. Except when we were checking halls we did that together. He's pretty easy he always says, 'whatever makes you happy, hun'. It works for me.

when we started, we went to all the halls together. i researched where to go...he drove us to about six place in one day without getting mad at me :) i had him going from exit 61 on the lie all the way to westchester. Then i made the decision and he did all the legwork on the final negotiating and the contract.
Next i researched bands, had a breakdown, and he came to the rescue and booked one :)
next i researched photographers, and he made an appt for next week to go see my favorite.
i have been so lucky that FI has been such a good little helper... i rely on him so much that i think i might need him to come dress shopping with me too... yikes!
He said the other night that we are such a good old team: i am the researcher and he is the executor. i'm so lucky

Nope. He just oks or vetoes all the things that take me FOREVER to plan (I get a little moody when he vetoes things )!

I was going to put him in charge of tuxes, but he has all these crazy ideas (i.e. 'tuxedo tshirts' or awesome 'baby blue tuxedos to match our theme' it is all the encouragement of his friends ) so I'll be involved in that one too!

He wanted a band really bad, so he was in charge of getting the right price & booking that I must say, he did a fine job..

Plus he has the obvious responsibilites like groomsmen gifts, getting the guys to get measured for tuxes & the most important, OUR RINGS! FH is making me ring a BIG surprise. When he had my e-ring custom made, he also had my wedding band done. I am not allowed to see it until he puts it on my finger. So considering I can't see it, he has to pick out his own band

Yes his Job is to stay out of my way
No I didnt give him anything to do

FH is in charge of getting the car/limo- but we actually have done everything together with the exception of my dress and the BP's dresses- although he was involved in style and color for that too.

he will also get his tux and stuff like that- I can't wait to see what he gets...he has really good taste...he usually looks better than me!!

My Dad told him his only job is to show up- and he took that literally

I don't mind doing things by my self or with my Dad ( my Dad is paying- so it's easier to bring him)

My FH works a lot- so I can't complain - plus he really doesn't have an opinion- which is also fine with me b/c I do!

He's been really good at yes-ing me and he's a pro at scanning when we register.

We did photo and video together and after that he has said 'it's your big day' you can plan it. Nope..it is our big day.. I am giving him Limos, honeymoon, and cigar table. I am so far behind though so i better kick him in the Arse.
