Fh JUST left for his bachelor party

Aw man! I cant believe hes at his bach party and youre stuck at home! Definitely have the girls come over and keep you company. Make a party for yourself!!

i dont have a hard cast on so thats the good thing. Hopefully by end of april though lol. I do want to go for an MRI though, i just took regular x-rays and i know how a regular xray cant pick everything up. When i went for my knee, it showed that something was wrong but until i went for an mri they couldnt see i had two torn ligaments, the knee is from years ago didnt hurt it now. I cant put my foot down at all so i really just want to be sure.

and honestly i really think i should have a hard cast on right now. I went to this place called rapid care in astoria which does minor emergencies if you dont want to go to the hospital and thats where joe went the 2nd time he broke his ankle. They said i had to go to my primary doctor first

which is bs bc no other doc ive gone to has ever asked me to do this. So i think bc of just going to a primary doctor is the reason i dont have a hard cast but a soft cast. Fh said i would be able to put my foot down with one

The timing definitely does suck, but hopefully you will be much better by the time your Vegas trip comes around. Definitely have your girls over though, at least that will make the evenings fly by!BTW what happened to your foot? I wasn't on for a while because I was insanely swamped and I guess I missed it.

i was running, and about to run down the stairs to the LIRR which the stairs are right off the sidewalk. As im about to run down the stairs this kid comes flying by, i think he must've just run out of the store that is right next to the steps so i tried avoid knocking into him and in the middle of me running i tried to turn and go the other way but when i did so my whole foot fell under me. I tore the muscle in my foot and now cant walk and have to use crutches but they were killing me just using them inside my apartment to get around, that sh*t hurts. But now fh bought me his 4 prong metal cane so that helps a bit to get around the apartment.

Oh you poor thing. You sound like me, I am always running for the LIRR. I can't believe you tore your muscle though! My cousin tore a ligament near her ankle once and I remember it was very painful. You are definitely doing the best thing possible though, by staying off your foot so that you have a speedy recovery! Will you be okay in time for the wedding?

aww--my fiance is goign to amsterdam in two weeks leaving me all alone it will go by fast and i hope you stay busy and have fun this weekend--rest up

yeah fh said this job is going to be the death of me, it also S*CKED bc i asked fh to pick me up and told him to just meet me at the WTC path instead of coming to jersey bc i'd have to wait probably an extra hour and this way i can handle taking it one stop. Well the path at the WTC you have to go down like 3-4 levels well i had to go up. I took the elevator but each elevator only goes up one floor then when you get off you have to walk all the way to the other side for the next elevator, i did this 4x, its the stupidest thing. That also made it worse bc once i left work and started going to the path my foot got worse from putting that much pressure on it. By the time i got to the WTC i could barely walk at all.

Yeah i should be okay by then

I work about two blocks away from the WTC site and took the path when the MTA strike happend (from midtwon through NJ to get downtown) so I know exactly what you mean. There is definitely alot of walking before you get to the surface.

I travel a lot for work and FH says it's a vacation. Mind you I work more hours while I'm away so it's by far a vacation.

I definitely think having your girls over for takeout, a movie and some cocktails will be a lot of fun!

it is so annoying. I take 3 trains and the other 2 im on them longer and the path is just 1 stop and i hate it the most. Its just staircase after staircase and escalator it doesnt stop lol
