FH made me buy a big screen!

We've been so good saving for the wedding and FH actually made a lot more money last month, but.....

I come home from running, and he tells me that our 27 inch Daewoo TV (that he's always hated) is broken. He's turns it on the everything is green. I said, lets give it some time and see if it fixes itself (i had a TV that did that once), but he insisted he was going to Circuit City right away.

Well, there's no way I was letting go alone...(like I thought I could stop him from spending too much) and a couple hours later, we were home with a 42 inch LCD HDTV. We so gave in to an impulse! Now, all that 'extra' savings is spent! I think I have buyer's remorse. (I've never had that before)!

Anyone else splurge lately?

yes!!!! We bought new couches and FH is putting in a new wood floor for the living room.

Yep, I just bought a video camera. I had one that broke in January when we were on a cruise. Of course, I upgraded this one!!

ok......lol i had this similar issues about three weeks ago...it was war !! lol ...dont worry i know how you feel....but the boys and their toys! you'll never win.....

I did somethings when I was off work. not big though. My FH is begging me for a big screen TV. I still have the same TV from 15 years ago I just keep telling him the color is still great! After we get married we will get a new one and a new couch.

My FH just bought a new tv, but he used his tax refund to do it and he did research first, so he got the best bang for his buck. He got a 30' flat screen from Best Buy. It's wide screen. I see it as one less thing we have to get for our place after the wedding.
