FH QUIT

So--- Fh got promoted to head chef. He has been running the restaurant for 2 months now. They told him he needed 60 days till he got the raise. Now the old chef who was moving to FOH manager is still staying as FOH manager. We felt like they were messing around with him lately. Long story short FH didn't have his hat for work and they terminal manager caused a big stink and they wanted to suspend him for 2 weeeks. (no way you can suspend someone with our prior documentation) None the less that doesnt matter now because FH quit. He knows he was wrong and he should have held off until he got a new job and feels horrible about the position he has put me in. Now i am responsible for our rent, 2 car payments, 2 insurance payments, cell phones, his cc plus the 12k+ we still need atleast for the wedding! AWESOME!!!!

I am stressed as hell!! I feel sick to my stomach!!!!!

So sorry that your FH had to put up with that BS

But I would also send FH out 1st thing and look for any job to at least bring home some money. In this economy it is really hard to just up and leave a job sometimes you have to suck it up and deal.

He can scan at the office I work at -- he was doing that prior to his promotion so he will do that on the weekend with me and the nights the dr isn't there. So he will be bringing in something. He already applied for like 20 jobs and said he will take the first reasonable one he can and then continue looking for a long term job while working

i went threw the same thing right after christmas and oddly enough my fh was a chef too...but we also have a now 11 month old to car for

it was crazy and totally wiped out of savings but we made it through..

It's good that at least he has something. Hating a job is the worst..I'm sure something will come along

join the club love. FH isnt bring poop home right now and there are only 8 months left I am waiting for him to stat his new job which I hope is next week. Him working in construction stunk on ice so now he is gonig to be working at Dunbar. We've all been here and everything will work out for the better.

I'm sooo sorry. I know exactly how you feel. I pray he finds something new quickly.

Awww, don't worry girl, he'll fix it. He'll do what he has to do to help you.

Maybe if he grovels they'll take him back? Cause guess what.. now they're without a chef on short notice.

But if not, he'll find something. Don't worry. Tell him to get a job at McD's if he has to to help the house out for now.

ugh I know how much it sucks when you hate your job. There's that moment of rage where we all want to say I QUIT!

Hopefully he'll find something else soon. I'm sorry you have all that $ stress now. Trust me, I know this situation well. At least he has some $ coming in while he looks for a new job.
