FH rant

FH rant

Grrr.....I mean seriously...

Last night as FH and I are watching TV on the couch I decided that I would take my favors out of the boxes they came in and put them in the organza bags that I bought. So I get all of the favors and the bags and lay everything out on the coffee table.

The process that needed to be done is as follows:

1. Take Favor out of box and bubble wrap
2. Open favor and turn the 'place card' over so that it is only a white piece of paper in the window of the favor
3. Put the favor in the organza bag

That's It!

So as I am doing all of this FH is just sitting on the couch next to me. Do you think he offered to help??? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

So I said to him...would you mind breaking down the boxes so I can throw them out. He says...the boxes are small, so they wont take up a lot of room in the garbage. So fine, I just kept going. Then he gets the garbage and puts the boxes in the garbage and then continues to sit there on the couch next to me and watch tv. So finally I said...would you mind taking them out of the boxes so it's one less step I have to do. So he huffs and starts to take them out of the boxes and put them on the table. I mean I just don't understand why I had to ask him....he was sitting right there next to me...he should have offered! That is the difference between men and women! Women would have just started helping while men have to be told to do something.

Grrrrrr...anyone else have the same annoying problems with their FH?

Re: FH rant

At the point where he said 'the boxes are small, so they wont take up a lot of room in the garbage' I probably would have just said 'that wasn't the question'

FH has been really good about this stuff lately because he wants to spend time with me and he knows that unless I get wedding stuff done, both my own and others, it isn't going to happen!

Still, he's dense. Like, I'll be assembling things and he doesn't think to help. Same way. If I point it out though he's usually like 'yeah sure'

Re: FH rant

I am completely freaking out lately between wedding and house things. Yesterday I sent FH an email with a list of 7 things that we need to get done by this time next week. They were small things, but as we ladies know, the small stuff piles up too. So I send the email and say 'let me know which of these things you're going to handle'

His response - to completely ignore me!!!
I call him and say 'did you get the email' he says 'yes, don't worry, we'll get it done.' I said that's not what I asked - I need to know what tasks you're doing....his response 'why do you need to stress out over all this stuff - we'll get it done'

I swear, it's a miracle I haven't murdered him in the last 48 hours!

hahahaha....I feel your pain!

Also...FH needs a white linen shirt for the wedding (it's beach casual and we already bought the suit and sandals). So yesterday I went to Kohls and found a shirt and bought it because if we don't do this soon then none of the store are going to have any linen shirts left and as it is right now there aren't too many left. So I show him the shirt and he doesn't have a reaction. So I said...if you don't like the shirt fine, but we have to get a shirt soon before the stores don't have any. His response was 'don't worry, we have time'....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...we don't have time!!!!

You're totally right, Our wedding is 9/13, Dan would start getting ready the weekend before if it was up to him.

I asked him a minute ago if he's given any thought to what he's wearing for epics tomorrow and he's like 'No I'll just wear something nice tomorrow.' The hell you will, I went shopping for him on Monday night he just doesn't know it yet, I want him to see that nothing fits first and then suggest a few new polos.

Oh and I love the word 'WE' as in 'WE will get it done'

'WE' always seems to mean ME!

Re: FH rant

I set up all of the favors by myself.... FH didnt offer to help and honestly, I didnt want him to help lol Im too anal and I wanted them to be perfect. I know that if FH helped he would have just thrown the sticker anywhere and wouldnt care about it being crooked hahahaha!
