FH Rant

UMM my FH same thing i asked pleaseeeeeeee ask your your dad for a list (his parents are divorced) and make your own he is like omg its too soon!! I tell him are you crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy no its not. I told him once i reach my limit dont cry to me that you or your dad couldnt invite anyone LOL

ughh men frustrate me sometimesss.

I have been asking FH for MONTHS for his official list. he gave me this half @ssed list with like 80 people and complained he had no family. I his sisters wedding is finally over and we can concentrate on our wedding so i ask his sister for a list and behold 115 people. Information i wish i would have had when i was looking for halls , i could have guaranteed a lot more people!

oh and to add maybe its good that you have less if you tell RH you have more maybe they will thrown in perks? ihave seen that before.

My FH's parents keep going on and on how they have no family and a small guest list [under 50 people]

No one told you to not invite people .....you chose to have no friends not me

I totally agree!! In some cases you could also try re-negotiating the price pp; if your going to increase the number of ppl by a substantial amount to guarentee a higher minimum. Try talking to your BM and see if you can work anything out. HTH.

Same deal here... solution? I went straight to FMIL and I got the list from her. There was no way if I left it up to FH that he was going to get it done LOL.

Same here! FMIL and myself just made out the new (and final) lists this past weekend. And I ask FH yesterday who else is he inviting (he is inviting his best friend and the BF parents that is it 3ppl!!!!!) And he said, ok here is my list: George, big george, and tammy! I was like whatt???? His mom is inviting a bunch of ppl and i was like u have to invite the ppl u work with b/c u guys help each other our. His repsonse 'No i don't and i don't want them there' I was like ok whatever!

yeah that's other crap FH pulled. He'd give me names (no last names) and he doesn't even have addresses for these people.

Hello? Half these people you are giving me are your family and you don't know their last names?!?? I understand they live in Ireland/England and you hardly see them, but how does that prevent you from knowing a last name? Even his friends (some of which I was the one to remind him to invite them ) he didn't even know their last names.

Im going through the same thing......its been about a yr and Im still waiting for his final list. Its hard to order anything (programs, favors, invitations, etc) without knowing how many people he is inviting

SO funny - i literally opened my guest list and then read this thread LOL

working on it now b/c we have to send STD's out in a little over a month and im having a panic attack!!!! lol

FH wants to invite everyone he has ever talked to and FFIL wants to invite his whole office - like, really??? i dont know them - they dont need to be there!!!
