fh's cousin believes the oldest cousin(her) should be the first to get married, so she moved out of state to live with a guy she was dating for a couple of months... she ignores both of us at family parties(was horrible to fh growing up), and of course didnt even introduce this guy shes living with...
fh and i believe she will either have a quick engagement/race to the alter.. or Most likely get engaged at our wedding... so if they arent engaged by our wedding we plan to not invite him(which we know the family wont like)..

SO.... tonight fh says he's standing firm on that decision, and that ' its not even so much that she would bother me, but that you are putting SO much time into the planning and all the details, that i wouldnt want her to wreck all your hard work'

Awe, thats sweet! I think getting engaged at someones wedding (Ive heard people mention the idea beforE) I think its the most tasteless, rude and disprespectful thing possible.
She sounds like someone that would bring him anyway, even if his name werent on the invite

I hope everything goes smoothly.
you have a sweet fh!

That's very sweet of him to recognize all the hard work you are doing for the wedding!

anna... i know it would be tasteless and rude, the only reason she is with this guy is to get married...., if she is engaged or married by our wedding then we will invite him with her, but we both think they're going to do the engagement to try and take away from us

we know that she might try bring him even without the invite, but we are going to make it clear to the family first that he is not invited and the 'detailed' reasons why which are justified(also the fact that us inviting her IS a compromise).... and if she STILL shows up after all that... well the dj will be told not to give away the microphone, and to not allow anyone to get up and speak other than the BM
.... theonly thing is fmil thinks this is 'going against ettiquete' and that a live in boyfriend has to be invited... but isnt it different rules for special circumstances?
