This is SUCh a rollercoaster! I cant imagine waiting another 2.5 years to get married! But with my dad leaving, FH ahving to take over my car payments, his car breaking down and me going back to school in the fall, I guess it just won't be possible to get married in 2006.
Look on the bright side...when we DO postpone, the FIRST thing I am going to do is get on the phone and book 2 vacations...a long few days at DL this summer and a week at WDW for January. I might as welll enjoy having more time to save for the wedding and have some fun.
I don't want to miss the happiest celebration on earth and happiest homecoming on earth.
Ok, so i'm really sad anyway...but at least mickey will cheer me up

I'm really sorry I know how you feel. Me and fh had to postpone our wedding two times because of money issues. It *****, but now you will have more time to save and be able to have your dream wedding.
Book those vacations, you deserve them.

I'm so sorry to hear this...but your guys are making the right decision....Let everything settle down first and relax. You may enjoy planning much more when you are less stressed out...I'm sure everything will work out for you guys!!! Best of luck!!!

I am sorry to hear this too. However, I think your stress will be alleviated when you have more time to plan and have the wedding that you want. You will also be able to save more money. You are going to make the best decision for yourself. Good luck.

I'm sorry hun, but you said yourself in a prior post this may have to happen. even though it sux for now, you do know what's best for you both. All this means is that when the time IS right, you will have a fantastic wedding.

We went back and forth on postponing before. We were goign to switch ti to sunday to save $$, but it would only save us $10 pp, so I didn't feel it was worth it, and it woudln;t make that much of a difference.
I thought we were going to keep our date, but FH is literally going crazy thinking about money and is afriad we'll be in debt forever. At least w/o the wedding pressure weighin on us so heavily, we'll be able to relax a little and go on vacation, and Fh will be able to buy a decent car.
He's driving around in a car on which inspection expired in february, the driver's seat is practically in the back set, there's no a/c the windows don't open, and it still has body damage from when a MINIVAN LANDED on it . So maybe he can get a decent used car now.

You are doing the right thing you have alot of pressure on you right now and the wedding is another pressure and its not supose to be its supose to be a joyous time but its very stressful. Enjoy your two vacations and we are all here for you
