FH/sports
Just a question:Most guys are sports addicts- I do not mind this and in fact I try to get show interest with my guy.
Just wanted to know for those whose FH, or Dh are sports addicts, does it cause havoc on your relationship?

Re: FH/sports
Not at all for us.. He watches the jet game whenever they play, and uless im not into tv that night or am out he watches the other games in the bedroom or at his brothers house.. he likes to watch the baseball playoffs and world series, but i limit it to one game on the big tv.. it sounds like im being a ***** but i think this way it saves us fights... it has really worked out for us.. and as an added bonus for him being so good about it, i host jet games for him.. his bros or friends come by and i cook for them ...he loves it!

Not at all! My FH LOVES football! He comes to my house usually to watch. I like it too because that gives me a few hours to do what I need to do... clean my room, take a nap, etc.! But I'll sit and watch it with him too! Doesn't matter to me at all!

Re: FH/sports
FH likes to play golf, but that's about it. He will watch a football game if someone else puts it on, but I have never seen him turn one on himself.I dont mind his occasional Sunday golf outtings... nice to get the house to myself

Re: FH/sports
My FH likes sports, but he'd much rather play than watch it on TV. The only thing that he really gets into are those 'World's Strongest Man' competitions. He played rugby for a number of years, but fortunately for me, there's not much of that on TV.

My husband loves hockey.I like it too so we watch it together. He likes to watch a few football games.I don't care for football so when he's watching a game,I do my own thing.I may catch up on laundry or go to the store.I don't mind at all.

Re: FH/sports
Is playstation 2 classified as sports addiction? Mine has been playing it for at least 2-3 hrs daily, plus 2 hrs on thursdays watching wwf smackdowns.
For now I tolerate it, and am hoping it will go away (the playstation part)

Re: FH/sports
He loves the GIANTS & YANKEES and that's about it-he enjoys basketball but will only watch it if it's a 'big game' like championships or something! He doesn't let it interefere with our relationship @ all! I don't mind though it gives me time to what I want to do-like go on LI WEDDINGS! HAHA
o yea--he's addicted to XBOX--especially HALO--him and all my gf's boyfriends have 'HALO' night every week! It's nuts! but it's cute nonetheless!!

I'm a bigger sports fan than my husband. I have to sit and explain what everything means to him. I also brought him to his first baseball & basketball game ever.

Re: FH/sports
Like Scoop, I am the sports nut. I am the one that wishes I have the TV where you can watch multiple things at the same time so that I can catch up on all the games. At 11 p.m. while every is watching the news or Friends, I am watching ESPN Sportscenter. I guess that makes me a sportsacholic.Hi! My name is Lisa and I am a sportsacholic.

John is a Baseball fan in general but he is a YANKEE Fanatic! I don't mind going to a game once in a while or watching one but Thank God it is only baseball he loves. No Hockey, Football, Basketball
