FH started honeymoon search

Original post by Goldi1021

Ok so FH started to talk with travel agents about our honeymoon. Based on the time of the year, they ruled out the Carribean, and Europe. They suggested Hawaii, Tahiti, Bora Bora, the British Virgin Islands, the Canary Islands, and Aruba.

What weird for me is that I realize that I don't like to travel. I am not super excited to go away for a week or two. I don't know why either. It has nothing to do with the locations above. I am not afraid of planes. I think something is wrong with me. I am just not a traveler. Anyone else like this?

I'm sorry your not looking forward to this....What about a cruise to Bermuda?

I have done that already. I liked it but I don't know if FH wants to cruise. Ya know I sound like a crotchety old lady. I need to stop whining.

Leslie,

When all is said and done, you'll want to leave the country to escape! Definitely conisder Aruba. I have been doing so much research and can help you out.

I'm not a traveler either . I'm such a creature of habit that going somewhere else isn't appealing to me.

That being said, I cannot wait to plan our HM (Hawaii) since it's going someplace that we both have always dreamt of going. This is the one vacation that I AM looking forward to!

Definitely consider Tahiti/Bora Bora! The weather is good all yr long and the lagoons and overwater bungalows are so unique! FM if you want info/details. Can't wait to go!!!!!

i know this is a really open ended question, but how much does a honeymoon to tahiti/bora bora cost? i never really thought about that area before, but from these boards i have notices it is a very popular honeymoon spot... so for those going what are the prices and for how long?
thanx
