We met at a Halloween party at my apt in 2006 - he was friends with my roommate's brother. We were both 25.

2) What was the first thought that went through your head when you met?
What a jerk! He was saying something to my friend Leah and I totally jumped into the conversation!!

3) Do you remember what he was wearing?
YES! hahah - lederhosen and a hat - he was dressed up as a German beer guy for Halloween

4) Where was the first place you kissed?
We totally made out at the party!

5) How did he ask you out?
LOL - he called a WEEK later at 3am to ask me out and I told him to call back at a normal hour, which he did the next day.

6) Where did you go for your first date?
We went to an Italian place on 2nd Ave which is now a Thai place!!

7) How long did you know him before you became a couple?
Like a month or so?

8) Have you ever broken the law with him?
Speeding and making rights on reds!

9) When was the first time you realized that you liked him?
I was flying back into JFK and asked him to pick me up and he did with no complaints - I knew he was such a great guy and so generous!

I don't think I know any of them?

Abso-freaking-lutely.

He sometimes forgets to get stuff, even if I write a list!

Where do I start?? I'm the worst - naggy, moody, argumentative...

Very happily married and living with our fat babies and pugs!

I totally knew it was coming b/c I am a big snoop and don't like surprises - I had off from work and he suggested we go into the city and we went into Central Park to Turtle Pond, which is a fave spot for us and he took my camera and had a random guy take a pic. Then FH was like 'wait one more' and whipped out the ring! The random guy was like 'OMG!' LOL!!!

20) Why is he better than all the other guys you've dated?
He is seriously the most loving, generous, kind, happy, cutie, perfect man! I can be myself 100% with him and he makes me LAUGH! He's the best - I am so excited to be marrying my best friend!

I see us living in europe, raising 2 children, hopefully twins

On top of the Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas. Got down on one knee and asked me to marry him( i think because it was a ll a blur)

we have never had an awkward moment. It was always so easy for us to talk and get along. Just always felt natural.

We met in a class in college...I was 21 and he was 23. I was dating someone else at the time though, so we were just acquantances.

2) What was the first thought that went through your head when you met?

Damn, he's a cute Indian goth guy!!!

Yes...black pants, black shirt with a fishnet tee under it, lots of chains on his pants, boots, and a dog collar. Oh, and eyeliner and a little black nail polish.
I know I make a lot of jokes on this board, but I am serious about this answer. Anyone on here who has met Neel is probably like 'REALLY?!?!' Yes...he's not so much goth anymore.

4) Where was the first place you kissed?

In front of his best friend's house!

5) How did he ask you out?

He didn't; I aked him out.

6) Where did you go for your first date?

Um...our first REAL date was Austin Ale House for dinner. But prior to that we went bar-hopping in Williamsburg.

7) How long did you know him before you became a couple?

I made him wait like 2 1/2 years before we dated, LOL.

Yes!

9) When was the first time you realized that you liked him?

The minute I met him...which is why I kept him at arm's length, because I was dating someone else at the time.

I haven't really had a chance to know them.

Absolutely, one million percent, yes.

14) What is one thing he does that gets on your nerves?

He's late to everything...he lacks time management skills.

I'm messy!

16) Where do you see each other in 15 years?

Married (yay!), owning a home, and if we decide to have children, then we'll be parents. Scary. We'll have done a great deal of travel by then, and hopefully we'll be involved in animal causes, moreso than we are now.

We met 7 years ago or so!

We just celebrated our 5 year anniversary in October!
19) How did he propose?

We went to Florida last year for Christmas (my parents live there) and my parents and sister took us to Key West a few days before Christmas. I was clueless; had no idea it was going to happen. Well, when we were in Key West we went to a butterfly and nature conservatory (on my sister's suggestion - she knew the proposal was happening!) and he was down on bended knee at the end of a little footbridge in the conservatory. Pics are in my album. It was perfect.

20) Why is he better than all the other guys you've dated?

There are so many reasons! He brings out the best in me, he doesn't do anything to intentionally hurt me, he has my best interests in mind, he has never made me question anything that he's doing, he's passionate, he's not afraid to say what he feels...it goes on and on..

As I opened the box I thought they were earings (I really had NO IDEA) and there was a ring inside, he then asked me to marry him!

He is not a jerk! He is honest, caring, fun, and we just clicked right from the beginning. Plus he is a chef and is the most amazing cook I ever met! He has turned me into a food snot...
