My Fh completely annoyed me tonight. First, I made mashed potatoes for us, my parents and brother and he said it isn't enough and made a face---Which if 5 pounds of potatos isn't enough for 5 people I'd be shocked- esp. since my mother and I barely eat and he knows that and it just pissed me off that he questioned me when I was cooking and he was lying on the couch doing nothing.
Than he goes online and comes upstairs and tells me that he needs a wedding invitation early- because his friend (ex-girlfriend) is moving and won't have internet access-- doesn't make an ounce of sense-- i told him no because I don't want to open them this far in advance and also because I don't think his ex girlfriend should be the first person to receive a wedding invitation...
am i taking all of this too personal or is he being a jerk?

Mash potatoes silly comment but easy to get over and move foward....ex-girlfriend I'd put the brakes on and focus here. Did you two talk about the guest list yet? If so, was she ever meantioned? Your invitations should all be mailed at the same time. Not really seeing or understanding how internet access or lack there of and receiving a wedding invite have to do with one another.

Re: FH Vent
yeah they remained friends and i accepted it- but it's weird because the night we started going out, they went out- she kissed him and told him she still wants to be with him and he said he is really over her and that he moved on and he took her home and that was it- he told me about it and we were all okay- he told me he wants her at the wedding and i was fine with it- she's married now with a child and i didn't want to be immature.
what does bother me is the fact he is mad at me because i dont want to send her an early invite- his ex girlfriend's wants are being placed in front of mine- thats how i feel at least :(

Re: FH Vent
Well as a couple you both need to decide on a date all the invites go out. Is she out of the country and that perhaps why she needs one early? If you send a STD she should already know the date. Plus if they talk then I'm sure he told her the date.

Re: FH Vent
she should def wait bc its really too early and u dont want to ruin the rest of the invites.. if he isnt going to know her address and thats the problem then he can just give her the information now so she wont even need an invite .. its not like shes gonna keep the invite anyways.. its just to show the information
