JMO but I thought bow ties were for a more formal wedding....is your wedding formal or informal? Then again, I'm not a bowtie fan either...so formal or not, I'd fight tooth and nail to not use them

I told mine that im going bc if I let him do it on his own hewill pick something stupid or unmatching he is pretty much letting me call all shots

I would normally agree with you, but in this whole process (and really, life in general) my FH is the more emotional decision maker and I am the logical one, staying on budget, etc!

But yet, I think you both need to calm down, give it 24 hours, and reconvene. Let him know why you don't like it, and what you would refer- and how can you meet in the middle?

If he sees that you are willing to give a bit, I bet that he will give a bit too
