this is what i have ... got it as a housewarming gift a few years ago and i love it ...
That's what we have. I like it because I don't have to search for the different names by turning it around...sounds silly, but it's really helpful when cooking.

yea uhhhh that's a little bit of an exaggeration. we registered for that one too and it's not a foot on all sides
if you read the description it clearly says 8 1/2'

I wanted it, but counterspace is limited so instead we're just going to keep our spices in a cabinet, in the containers they came in. We have one of those little extending shelves (looks like a mini staircase) so they are all visible.
We have so many that they'd never all fit in the rack, anyway.

LOL...FMIL actually bought us this exact one for Christmas cause FH had mentioned he wanted one. It actually isnt that big and obnoxious. It doesnt take up a huge amount of room, I have it in the corner of one of my counters. I guess if you dont have alot of counterspace it could seem obnoxious. I actually like it..it is pretty cool

check this one out i registered for at crate and barrell. i just read the description and i get free refills for 5 years! lol like im gunna walk into crate and barrel and ask them to refill my oregano?!
We put this Spice Rack on our registry. It takes up less room on the counter b/c it goes flush against the wall. With the spinning ones you have to be sure there is enough room for it to move easily.

That's the one we registered for! I didn't know that! we use a lot of spices but we wouldn't bother with Crate to refill. THAT is obnoxious!
