FH wants to invited X Sister-in-law! It's up to all of you!

So we're sitting here doing our list - and we have decided that we are going to let the ladies of liweddings decide this:

My FH is still kind of friendly with his X sister-in-law, although his X-wife has no relationship at all with this lady, and neither do I.

He wants to know if I have a problem inviting her - and I am not sure how I feel! (She looks a lot like his x-wife )

Sooooo......what do you all think?

(I know it's hard b/c you don't know us, but any input would be much appreciated!)

I think you need to figure out how you feel about it. If you have no relationship with her, then do you feel indifferent to it or are you a tiny bit threatened by her appearance, not only physically her, but physically there (just cause you mentioned that she looks like his ex)

If you are indifferent, and if your FH wants her there, even though they are only somewhat friendly, then just extend the invite I guess. But if her appearance there will make you the least bit uncomfortable, then forget it. But honestly, you will be so happy and so busy, you probably wouldn't even know if she was there one way or the other! Sorry, I think I just babbled here, hope it helped a little! This is a hard one.
I say if you don't like her, don't invite her. However, if you don't dislike her and just have no relations with her then invite her.

PS tell FH Hello! and I have a problem with this site too....that I'm addicted and my FH knows it and he puts up with me being on here for countless hours while he watches TV

You are not pathetic...I can't tell you how many times my FH has asked me if the 'girls on the board' have gotten back to me, and of course I know the answer to that immediately!!! And your FH will just have to accept the fact that this board is an addiction and you will need to be weaned off it slowly...

Is he still good friends with his X-SIL. Would you want to meet her? I think he should invite her over to meet you and depending on how that goes this should be decided. You might meet her and really hit it off, or she may decide that this is not a good idea. Also, consider her feelings about this. Will she know anyone at the wedding? With your FH's family include her with theirs?

We are just sitting here laughing about this - he doesn't know I'm writing this - but I love him so **** much!!! Thanks girls - i will keep you posted - and I'm not telling him I'm typing this either - but I think I'm gonna give this one to him!!!

don't invite her. that's my gut feeling. but that's bc I am a bit psycho....for me, just seeing her there would remind me of his x wife, and that is not something I would want to be reminded of for even one second at my wedding. Plus, you didn't say, my FH is still really close with....you said he is still kind of friendly with.....I say no!
