chuck taylors (converse dbl tongue hi tops) he's trying to making it seem cool bc he can personalize them now all the guys are on his side.


i like the idea...but not for him...maybe after church?

i think thats a good compromise and one he would be willing to do. Tell him at the church to wear shoes but at the reception he can put his converse sneakers on

DH changed into his DC's after all teh important stuff was done. I didn't even realize until teh photographer pointed it out LOL

yea, ill compromise. i am on the site now and i wish the colors were more of the girls dress colorss lol

I think if FH is willing to wear his dress shoes for the church and some or most of the formal pics after.. then at the reception it won't be so bad... no one will probably even notice!!!

shorts??????? lol fh said, do we have to go to the wedding lol...he says that for EVERyones wedding lol bc he knows it bothers me.

i went to my friends wedding yesterday the guys wore black and red uptowns...i actually got nervous for the 1st time for our wedding and i cried so much during the father daughter dance the song *in greek* was soooooo touching made my heart explode- and then my mom cried and my younger sister and then older sister - i don't know what im going to do day of-ps- fh just called saying guys bought sneaks 3 mths ago i guess bc he saw his boys wear the uptowns last night i said- hm what you think about that- he said i dunno wiht a smirk so i knew sumthing was up... o wells. it's a done deal lol..... he said just now he will wear shoes during church and some photos. im cool now

A couple of girls on here DH's did this....I remember seeing pictures. I would say the ceremony he has to wear shoes, the reception let him wear whatever he wants on his feet, I wore flip flops, no reason why can't wear sneakers, right?

All of our guys and my FH are wearing chucks for the ceremony and reception but we are not getting married in a church. If we were I would definately ask them to wear them only for the reception as well.
