really nice 2 weeks before the wedding, I don't even know what to say, I'm off today I think I should go look for a 2nd job, i can't believe this happened to us...........

I feel your pain. i'm so sorry to hear that. FH got laid off in February, just as we were in the final stages of closing on our house. But everything worked out in the long run. Don't let it ruin your excitement. It will work out. Good luck!

i am so sorry to hear that . friends just lost thier job and they are hired currently at temp agencies and doing well for the time being. There are a ton of mergers and help needed right now , maybe not careers but in the interim many good companies are looking for good hard workers

Thanks so much for your support ladies, FH was in the information technology department of a construction company in the city, he made a lot of wonderful connections and there are so many people out there that are pulling for us and always there for us, I know things will work out in the end, but talk about bad timing, bottom line is that thankfully he is in good spirits, hes going out with some friends tonight and tomorrow morning were going to get our marriage license....we're gonna plug along and get through it, I just wish I could stop crying every 5 minutes, I feel so bad for him, I know how it feels to be laid off, I was last June, and I thought THAT was bad....but again, we're gonna be alright, all of us will.....hugs and kisses to you all, thank you so much!!

Im sooo sorry and I totally know what you are going through. 3 months left and FH cant work at his new job because he needs an operation on his shoulder and he's a liablity. So he cant apply for disability and workmens comp wont pay since they settled. So while we wait to see if they will atleast pay for his surgery he is out of work and dont know how long and if he will get his job back once this is all done with. I feel your pain

I saw your earlier post that he worked in an IT department. Has he checked jobs at verizon wireless? I know someone in their IT department in Jersey and he said they're on a hiring frenzy (for multiple locations) Definitely have him check for jobs on their website. GOOD LUCK!
