Somebody posted that on Mets.com you can buy a brick for the fan walk at the new Shea Stadium. Thank you to whomever that was -- I am so doing that! Now, I'm not sure which size brick, and which wording looks better. You can only have 15 characters, including spaces per line. You can have 3 lines for $190, or 6 lines for $340. FH's last name is 7 letters, so, please let me know what you think is best -- TIA!

I like the last one, but take out the word 'The'. There is no need to pay extra just for that.

My sister also thought I was crazy for wanting to spend an extra $150 for the larger size -- but it is something permanent, and a wedding gift. Matt is a huge Mets fan (I'm not into sports at all!), so I think this is a great gift for him.
Ladies whose hubbies are sports fans, do you think they'd like the larger brick just because its larger?

well, if you can afford it, then I say go for the larger size. You'd hate it if 50 years from now if your grandkids go to the stadium to see their family memorialized and you'd regret not speding only $150 for something bigger.
But, either way, it is a fantastic gesture and I think your FH will really love it!

I think this is a great idea! My FH is a die hard mets fan. I am a die hard Yankees fan, but I think this is a cute idea. I went to the Mets website and couldnt find info on this. Where did you find it?

I did this for FH as a wedding gift also. I did three lines because he is the Met fan while Im the Yankee fan. I put:
#1 Met Fan Johnny ______

I'm so glad this post helped some of you! I got the idea from someone on here who posted it a while ago, so I can't take credit for it! Any other suggestions -- small vs. large brick -- wording, etc? I'm kind of thinking he'd like the bigger one just because its bigger?
