FH Wedding Gift

Has anybody thought about what to get your FH for a wedding gift? I was thinking of a nice watch (movado, tag)

I think a nice watch a probably the most popular wedding gift...

but I've been promising my FH for years, when we get married (and are 'allowed' to live together ) he can have his 'poker room' with a custom professional table and chipset that has his name on it. Its goofy, but thats what he wants.

I already bought him a nice watch for college graduation.

I'm not sure if we're giving gifts. We're doing the wedding on our own, so the funds are tight

He really wants a dog. I think I may finally have to give into this.

At first I was going to do a really nice watch of his choice, then he told me he really wanted a 2005 Phantom instead of the antique cars for the bride/groom car I can't do both so I got him the Phantom.

when do you give each other the gifts and do most couples do that?

we are thinking of maybe just giving each other small sentimental gifts or just a card the morning of...and using the money we would have spent on the honeymoon.
