I wanted to get a watch but felt it was too cliche. Then I wanted to get him a pocketwatch and have it engraved- but I told him about it- and he said to not bother.

I have been thinking about this for a while.

I might do a weekend away.. Sometime months after the wedding. something like that- we like our weekend trips!!

I like the puppy idea!!!!!

We have decide not to do gifts since we're already strapped for cash. I'll probably buy him something special on th honeymon.

i know it's great, and if I was loaded I would do it, but I never really understood that. Why do I have to get him a present? I am the damn present!!!

Good gift idea: A girlfriend of mine had a pro-photgrapher take some racy pics of her (nothing trashy, just very artsy black and whites of her topless in magazine pose position, very sexy) and had them matted and framed for her hubby. They hang in a dark corner of the bedroom, and he LOVED them, as you can imagine.

THats the kind of creative gift any guy would love to get!

The puppy idea made me think... we are hoping to get pregnant soon after the wedding... so maybe, God willing, his present would be me with a big fat belly and 2 am cravings for pizza and hot fudge sundaes... oh yeah, and the moooood swings.
