FH'S BUILDING HIT BY CRANE!!

Girls.....FH called me hysterical crying!!! IT was his crane from his building that hit the other building but his guys were on the street and teh crane operator has now died.....i can't believe this!!! I am crying right now so thankful that FH is ok but he is so scared!!! Tonigh's our rehearsal and this week we have been give moreee than we can deal with!! Please pray for FH and his workers!!!

UPPER EAST SIDE (WABC) -- At least one person has died in a crane collapse on the Upper East Side. The crane smashed into a 23-story apartment building before crashing more than a dozen stories onto the street below.
Newscopter-7 is live over the scene.

The crane collapsed at the intersection of First Avenue and East 91st Street just after 8 a.m. Eyewitness News is told when the crane collapsed, it fell into the building on the southbound side of the street.

There are more than 100 firefighters on the scene. Firefighters swarmed over the wreckage searching for bodies. It wasn't immediately clear whether there were additional fatalities.

The top floor of a nearby high-rise apartment building has been damaged. Firefighters and rescue workers are continuing to search through the wreckage. There are reports of one person being trapped underneath the rubble in the cab of the crane.

The accident happened almost three months after a crane collapsed, killing seven people about two miles south.

In that March 15 accident, contractors building a 46-story condominium near the United Nations were trying to lengthen the crane when a steel support broke. The crane demolished a four-story town house and damaged several other buildings.

A city inspector resigned after his arrest on charges of falsifying business records and offering a false instrument for filing.

I heard this crane was just inspected Wednesday. This is getting ridiculous!!!!!!

Thank you ladies for your kind thoughts....i can't even believe this happened!! FH is soooo upset...he is waiting for all his guys to be accounted for but the news said a construction worker has been killed! I really can't believe this! It sounds sooo loud over there i can barely hear him!! I can't stop crying!
