IMO I would extend the offer for her to come to the CHURCH ONLY. BUT - if she's the type of person who would do something crazy or sit there and make snide comments or crazy looks cause she's jealous then I would not do it. I don't have children but if I did and their father was getting married I would definitely appreciate the gesture of being invited to the church to see my sons in the wedding ceremony. I wouldn't expect to be invited the reception...

NO NO NO NO I would not have her at the church especially. That's just my opinion, I think it wouldn't be particularly pleasant for her anyway. I think it's a day for you guys to share with the kids and she can deal with it for a day.
