FH's family pisses me off

They are super negative about everything and they haven't jumped in and helped out in ANY way for this wedding. I have tried many many times to include them in every aspect of our lives and have been rebuffed -- there is something seriously wrong with them. I've long given up.

When the invites went out I asked FH if his brother was dating anyone so that when I addressed the envelopes I could add the girl's name or '& Guest'. Turns out he isn't dating anyone and FH was like, 'Why are sending him a seperate invite? Just send it to the whole family.' So, I went with what he said -- I know the ettiquete but at that point I was like whatever. I addressed it to 'The Carrieri Family'

Today is the RSVP due date and his mom called to ask why his brother wasn't sent an invitation....

WHAT?

And FH tells her that that was the way I did the invites. WHAT??????

IS IT JUST ME????????????????????????????????

I'm done with FH's family until AFTER this wedding.. All they do is demand what they want, yet they don't help out AT ALL!!!

We sent 1 invite per household. My cousins still live at home with my aunt it makes NO sense to send 3 invitations to 1 house....

Same for his best man. he lives with his parents, so he got 1 invite. You did the right thing, so do not worry!

If it wasn't FH's mother -- a woman who he loves to death - I might tell her a thing or two about herself.
