we're fighting bc he says its unfair that mine is larger than his...

ours are pretty much equal. but i think that if lists are unequal, its no big deal. when my mom & dad got married 30 years ago, my mom only had one table of guests (literally) and the rest were my dad's guests... my mom didn't have much family at all.

mine is larger because he does not have a conventional work place so he isn't inviting anyone from work and I am inviting about 15 people from work

mine is bigger for the same reason, my parents are paying for most of the wedding and his are paying for none. Funds are limited and I dont want to go over my minimum, but I have a certain number of people I must invite, and it happened to be about 60% of the minimum, so he gets 40%

Mine was longer because I have a bigger family. Bu tnow he decided to invite a whole bunch of people from work and we are even now

OMG!! We are having the same problem. My mom is paying for half of theRH cost and he says the guest list has to be 50/50. Freaking men, they can't handle the Peruvianness!!!

definitly not the same on both sides.
my side is bigger bc i have a huuuuge @$$ family, but he still has a decent sized guest list as well...

They're pretty close but FH has a bigger family and his parents are paying for the wedding, so I have no complaints.

mine is like 20 times larger then his - but most of his family and friends are out in Kansas - so we're inviting his imediate family & cousins... but not going as far in the family chain as my family!!! Also, he's lost touch with a lot of friends since moving to DC - so its mostly my NY friends :)
he comments about it, but hes not mad about it!

FH's is 250 guests and I only have 130 guests on mine. Our parents are splitting the RH, FMIL understands she will need to pay more than my parents.

Mine is longer because most of my family can't come because they can not fly to the US so I invited lots of my friends, although he has lots of family that live in the US he does not have as many friends as I do...I cant help it if I'm more popular than he is

I think they are about equal.

I have a lot more fam then he does so he's inviting more friends then I am to keep it even.

FH's list is definitely larger than mine because my dad's side is very small and family on my mom's side have moved away and we haven't really kept in contact with them.
