FH's surprise party - vent

i just need to vent...

i'm planning a surprise party for FH's 30th bday for this friday... i've been planning it since July...

i've been accomodating - even changning the day 3 weeks ago b/c a friend of his is having an engagement party that night - so i moved it...

i've been working my butt off to get things planned, paid for and ordered...

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm happy to do all of it but why, oh why, did i decide to do this on top of all the wedding stuff?!

It's costing so much more than I had wanted and taking up so much time...

BLEGH!! it will be worth it to see the surprise and for him to celebrate and be with his friends, but couldn't he have turned 30 next year?! hahaha

sorry just needed to vent

Awhhhhhhhh. Just remember, the smile on his face will be priceless, and it'll all be worth it, once you see it all happen. What a nice thing to do for him

Just remember how happy he will be-maybe that will make it a little better. And make a point at the end of the night to say you know i planned this WHILE planning our wedding

Oh God I did that for a guy I was dating once-- and it wasn't even during something as stressful as wedding planning (I couldn't imagine!!!!) and just planning it alone and paying for it was SO stressful-- I kept asking myself why I did it in the first place... BUT it was totally worth it and he had a blast... So I'm sure you will be happy you did once it is all said and done!

I had a surprise 30th party for my FH in September and I was stressed as well because I wanted to do it all by myself and pay for everything, it turned out to be a great time and it was all worth it. So just keep thinking how much he will enjoy it and you will get through it, even though it can seem like it is not worth it now it will be!! Good Luck!!!!
