Re: FH's wedding band -
We bought him a titanium one because he really, really liked the design. But then he lost weight and it didn't fit and couldn't be resized. So now he has a gold one.

Re: FH's wedding band -
I got two of them for FH....both are gold. I got him the one he wanted for his wedding band and then I got him a plain band to use on a daily basis, coz I know at his job it is going to get scuffed.

Re: FH's wedding band -
Yellow gold. We found a band that has polished gold on the edges and satin gold in between. FH loved the design and look of the yellow gold
FH got a tungsten carbide one because it won't bend at all, so he won't have to worry about it getting scratched up at work or bent while he works

Re: FH's wedding band -
I'm gettng FH a titanium one that he likes. Its black and has two silver lines. We saw it online and went into Zales. They said they have an insurance/lifetime guarantee thing for like $30 (I believe) that includes getting a new band if the sizing changes. This sounds a little too good to be true and I want to confirm the info before buying it b.c the guy who helped me was new.

Same here. Also because tungsten can be cut off his finger if it's ever necessary, but titanium cannot.

Yes - since FH is a phys ed teacher, I think titanium is a bad idea. I'm not sure which metal would be best . . .

Platinum. DH is a police officer so it is durable. I like that is can be polished over and over again without losing metal. It gets dull from wearing it to work but once it is polished it looks brand new.

Platinum.
FH do not wear any jewelry. not even a watch. so i wanted to get him something extra special. it is quite expensive for a mans wedding band but he completely deserves it.

Re: FH's wedding band -
I'm leaning toward platinum because of the durability and he tried on an amazing plat band at Tiffany's this past weekend - but the price tag was outrageous - $2300!! It's a lot of metal I guess, haha. My e-ring is white gold, so my band will match that but I want our rings to be the same metal, so now I have the idea that I should get the 18k white gold beaded pave band to match my e-ring AND a thin platinum band to match his . . . yikes.

White gold because we wanted it to match my wedding band, which we wanted to be white gold to match my white gold e-ring!
