are any of your fh's buying shoes or just using the rentals?

Depends, since FH & I are the same height I measured him up to him while wearing his Kenneth Cole shoes (which have a thick heel). If the tux comes w/a shoe w/a heel that size then he can use them if not, then he needs to go out & buy a pair b/c this Bride needs to wear heels on her wedding day!!!

using the rental but we bought new white a navy sneakers for him to change into and be comfortable.

I bought my DH wing-tips. I liked the retro-vibe they give. He was totally opposed to the idea and then when he tried them on, he knew it was a good choice.
