FI and I are having a bet...Who is right?

My FI and I are having a bet and I said that you guys would solve this for us.
I think that we should book are trip to Hawaii about 4-6 months in advance. (our wedding is in July) He says that's too early, we can wait until two months before. Who is right? (Pick me! Pick me!)

You should always book earlier its cheaper....

I definitely think the earlier the better! I def wouldn't wait till 2 months before! You may not be able to get a room at the hotel you want and you'll just have to settle for what's available.
