I am keeping my hair long for the wedding and FI likes it short. He keeps saying he doesn't like my hair long and it doesn't look good but, I want to wear it up for the wedding. He is being really mean about it and I am fed up. I am planning on still keeping it long for the wedding but, I am sad he won't like it. sorry for the vent.....

interesting... most guys (not all) like long hair. If you want to wear it up you should. He'll get over it when he sees you all dressed up and pretty.

FH will get over it. Has your hair been short most of your relationship? That could be why. Hell get used to it. He has too!
Just try and brush his comments off and show him how confident u are with ur loooooong wedding hair.....hell live

Hmm thats strange my FH is hoping mine will keep growing longer since its kind of hit a stopping point.. talk to him and tell him thats what you want.. you wear it not him right>

don't give in...I am growing mine too..FH likes it long and I cannot stand it..I have curley hair and the curls die when it is long...

I would ignore him. Try not to let the topic come up anymore and if he brings it up just dont discuss it. No matter what the length of your hair is between now and then, I am sure that on your day when you walk down that aisle he will not be the slightest bit concerned about how long your hair is. He will be too busy catching his breath
BTW - whenever FH and I have a difference of opinion on something like this and I am not willing to budge I just ignore it and do what I want anyway and 99% of the time he gets over it

He just being a baby! You're going to look amazing on your wedding day and don't let him say otherwise! He'll be floored once he sees you all done up.

OMG ive found the one other person in the world with the same problem as me..my fh loves short blonde hair and has been pressuring me to cut it for 8 years now...i usually keep it about shoulder length but now since the wedding is coming im trying to grow it longer and he cant stand it. i though i had the only guy that loves short hair..lol..

i am in the same boat. FH seems to always like my hair short and i like it medium length. my hair is very thick, course and wavy. he doesnt like it 'it itches'
but he shuts up b/c he knows it'll make me feel beautiful with my hair longer.

I've had the same problem, you just have to ignore it and do what's best for you. He also hates that I bought an actual wedding gown (originally just wearing a Betsey Johnson party dress) and says he prob won't like it which crushed me. I just tell myself that I know he'll think I'm beautiful that day and then I can say 'told you so!'

i have a pair of like pj shorts that i bought last summer it says 'boys are stupid, throw rocks at them'
im a believer of that LOL sometimes they are like 5yr olds that just say whatever comes to their heads without thinking ignore him bc u will look beautiful and i know he'll think that also!
