My FH wants to go to Vegas for his bachelor party. I just laugh at him everytime he mentions it. I really wouldn't want him to go and I don't think this will actually happen...but what if it does?

5 days is a lot! Well, I would try to keep busy and keep my mind occupied. Try to pamper yourself!

I give anyone who lets their FI leave out of state for the batchelor party a lot of credit. Esp. for 5 days! On the other hand, absence makes the heart grow fonder and he might come back with a re-newed love for his soon to be wife! While you might be going crazy for the next couple of days, I really think it was a good thing to do, time apart is always nice.

My FH is going away with the boys this weekend, too! I'll miss him terribly, but I'm also looking forward to spending some time with my mom and my friends. We have a lot of last minute details to work through before the wedding next week.

Kris, if you get lonely, just post here! I'm sure I'll be looking for some company!!

Good luck with the rest of your planning! Can you believe your wedding day is right around the corner???

Kris, I feel for you. It's hard to have the one you love far away...but don't worry he'll be back soon. Try to enjoy some quiet time and pamper yourself while he is gone.

MY DH is a boat captain and he leaves every summer to go up north for tuna season...this year he left in June and I didn't see him until 3 days before our wedding on 10/5!! Usually I go to visit him at least once a month. But this year we were trying to save some $$ for the wedding, plus I had to fly to PA for my shower (that's where I grew up) and fly to NY to finalize plans. So I only got to see him once that whole time!!! It was tough but he was doing what he loves (that will change thought when we have kids...he is starting his own yacht management business so he won't have to make those trips every year).

Wow! Apples... I give you credit. It is funny, I am just getting used to being with him all the time- I lived on LI and he in NJ. I just moved up to NJ about 2 months ago. I am just lonely and a bit freaked out when I go to sleep.

He is cute though, he left me little notes that he loves me all over the apartment. Tonight I found one in the cabinet with the pots!
