ahhh!! why was there drama when you told your mom you were engaged?!

. I never thought I would be the type of bride who focused so much on small details-ie linen colors, chair covers, lighting.


2. Planning my wedding so far has been much more stressful than I thought but still fun.


3. The stupidest suggestion for my wedding I was ever given was to have my wedding on a week day (not even at night) to save money.

5. Wedding drama took place when FH's mom stared yelling at me on the way to one of the reception halls for disagreeing with her .

Well, she thought I should wait till I get out of law school (which I finished May 08) to get engaged, then it was 'well you arent married yet, you could still keep looking' and 'why are you wasting so much money, just go to vegas and get married or go to the justice of the peace, no point in spending that much'

awww are things better now that it is getting closer??

Till I pointed out to her that I am paying 30 less per person than my cousin getting married in FL in July and getting 3 times as much (the price there is based on which entree you get).


She is now saying 'oh well you will just have to show them how a New York wedding is done then'

4. Put a little number in pencil on the back of all the response cards because people forget to write their names on it. So when you get it back you have a master list with everyone's # so you know who mailed it without writing their name LOL

1. Was this easy going
2. Pretty easy (then again I havn't done much yetjust the RH and Dress)
3. Right before you are announced into the RH have the DJ play the DVD of FH proposing on the TV's??? what????
4. Just have fun planning and being engaged bc you will never have this time again
5. Parents were both pushing people into BP...

1. cared more about what others thought instead of what I thought about our wedding.
2. Fun, but stressful at times.
3. to have a friend and her mom provide food and decorate the RH and bake wedding cake.
4. to give all of the guests disposable cameras to take pictures at the wedding.
5. my older friends got pissed because my newer friends were in the Bridal party and they are not.
