How far in advance to your wedding is your final count due?
I am worried about ordering invites, which I guess I should look into soon. If our wedding is July 31st and invites usually go out 8 weeks prior to what? The wedding date or due date?

I'm sending mine out 8 weeks prior to the RSVP date - sending them first week of February, RSVP date is April 1st, wedding is April 30th. Our RH needs the final count I think 1 week before.

My final count is due about two weeks before the big day. However, you should build in a buffer between that date and your RSVP date, just in case people forget to RSVP or cancel. I ade my RSVP date March 21 and I thinkmy final count is due April 4

Invites out 8-10 weeks before the wedding date will give you enough time! Your final count is probably due 2 weeks before the wedding.

about 5 weeks before (March 31 for May 7th). I am going to give non-responders until April 7 to respond. After that, no more RSVPs accepted and the seating chart is being made and ordered.

We want to give ourselves at least 3 weeks before the wedding to have the final headcount for the RH

Our final count is due 2 weeks before the wedding.
We are sending our invites out around March 19th ( hopefully we have them by then) and our RSVP date is May 26th. exactly one month before the wedding. This gives us 2 weeks to deal with the people that forget to RSVP.

people got our invites 6 weeks ahead of the rsvp date (Feb.26). our final headcount to RH is due March 16.

My wedding is close to yours (7/29) we are sending out the invites on 5/1 with an rsvp date of 6/15. My hall wants final by 7/8. HTH!!
