Final dress fitting was today!

All I can say is Gina at Bridal Suite of Bay Shore is the greatest! And ladies, make sure you are completely comfortable with your bra, that it fits good, and most importantly, that it fits well under your dress. My second fitting ended up being like a first fitting because I noticed the bra really didn`t fit right, so Gina came in and worked with me until we found the best one, and WOW, what a difference! But they had to make more adjustments .. taking it in even more .. if you could only see the smile on my face when that happened! :) Today, after all the fixes were done, I tried it again, and it feels great! One of my girls took her dress home today, and my flowergirl and matron of honor come back in a few days to try their dresses, and hopefully take them home as well. As for my headpiece, it`s a bunwrap. The girl doing my hair didn`t like the comb at the back of the headpiece, and told me to have them take that off and put little loops, so she could hook the pins through the loops and into my hair. Well, when I got there today, Gina took the headpiece right into the back and had the ladies make the changes while I had my fitting .. and they did it so fast!

So was mine!!!

I am so relieved my dress is home. I got my dress at Bridal Couture. My seamstress was great. However, most of the rest of the staff leaves something to be desired. Each time I was there, a bride was yelling or crying. I am glad to hear your fitting went well.

YAY! Bridal Suite

Thats where I bought my dress and I loved the attention I got there...I'm glad that the service doesn't change :) I can't wait... 10 more months!!!!

My 2nd fitting was last night

My second fitting was night and now just have to go back for one more to make sure that the bustle loops are in the right place. Two of my sisters came with me and they were so excited about seeing my in my dress. My daughter's dress is all set, just has to be pressed. My granddaughter's dress we bought from Attias Flea Market and just needs to be pressed as well so whew....Big steps!!!
