Final Meeting with Photographer

I have it tomorrow night. The wedding's 2 weeks from Friday (yikes!). I'll be meeting the photographer for the first and last time before the big day. What questions should I ask and what should I expect? Thanks!

Final Meeting with Photographer

I would have spent more time discussing some of the following: Key shots I wanted - we didn't discuss it a lot, and when the day came it was so hectic I didn't get some of the things I wanted. I don't have many with my bridesmaids other than the posed ones in the hotel. Be very specific with your list and try to stick to it. Backgrounds and settings - I wish I'd really looked around more at potential photo spots in the hotel, the reception site, etc and told the photographer about them. There were some really pretty spots at the church and in the hotel lobby that I wanted to pose in front of and again, during the rush and all I didn't think to mention it. Different poses - I have several shots of me with the Best Man and ushers, and hubby with the MOH and bridesmaids but they are all just slight variations of the same shot. I wish we'd taken some standing, sitting, on the balcony, etc. so I had more variation to choose from. The invitation - give him a copy to bring with him, and make sure that you bring a few copies with you, so you can take the classic shot of the invite with the flowers. We scrambled to find an invite that someone had brought along so we could get that shot. Still life - we have some nice shots of the card table and some other similar still life shots that are really nice, especially in the black and white. My cousin took a really nice shot of the church window that he's put as the lead picture on a web page. Ask for a few things like that to capture atmosphere. Cocktail hour - we did not attend ours and I wish there were some pictures - I haven't even seen any snapshots or anything from the cocktail hour!!! Hope this helps!
