Does anyone know when you normally get contacted by the RH to finalize the menu, linens, etc? I made my third payment and the only payment I have left is the last one after the head count is final. Do they do all that at that time or is it done a few months prior?

Mine isn't till 6 weeks before the wedding. Every place is different though.

edit..does it say it in your contract? If not, why not call?

Every venue is different. We did ours about a month and a half before.

We did ours a month before the wedding I believe. They contacted us by mail saying we needed to make an appt. with them to finalize menu, drop offs, linens, ect.

Thanks everyone. I was a total airhead, I should have just called which I finally did. Found out they will contact me 6 weeks before to schedule something about 4 weeks prior to the wedding.
