How is or has everyone made there finale payment to RH? I was going to do cash but then i was thinking since it is so much money i may want to do a bank check to protect the large amount of money. What does everyone think?

my RH will only take a bank check for the final payment-- and i wouldnt pay them cash- i like the idea of checks and being able to keep on top of it and have proof of payment--but thats jsut me hth

I would def give them a bank certified check... No cash- keeeping track of all transactions is the way to go for me... Plus i dont like stepping out anywhere with a crap load of money.... i get paranoid!..lol

my RH doesn't accept cash! Only credit card or certified checks. I def think paper trail is important on such a large sum

Ditto for me... i have paid all vendors so far with a check! and i never use checks!

We paid our final payment in cash and received a receipt stating we had paid in full. It was not a problem but most people pay with a certified check.

same here.. when i get to the final pymt, i would want to provide them a bank ck, so they know i'm good for the $ and also to provide me a legalized paper trail.
you never know these days...

PAPER TRAIL ALWAYS! When you make a big payment, such as to the RH, if they can't accpet personal check, than do a bank check or money order. I'd be too worried to had over that much $$ in cash.

First of all, yay Lauren!!! You're wedding is in 2 weeks I've actually made all my payments to my RH in cash and it's been fine. They write out a receipt for me every time and also put it on my contract. I made a cash deal with mine though so I had no choice. If they accept a bank check I'd rather do that. I freak out every time I have to take out a huge chunk of money.
