Finale Song...

I love that song too--but probably won't use it either. One song that I loved at a recent wedding was 'Dance to the Music' its an older song....which Madonna also used as a finale to one of her tours.....you guys would recognize it if you heard it. It's very upbeat and lively.

We are using Ant's Marching by Dave Matthews Band. We are huge DMB fans, and have travelled all over the country to go to concerts, plus it's how we met.

We both hate dance music, so we are going to try to use music that we enjoy in as many places as possible....

I'm so tired of hearing those as the last songs at weddings. I think they're actually beginning to make me twitch.

We ended with The Way you look tonight by Frank Sinatra...it was the perfect ending for DH and I.

I love that song!! I like the idea of NY, NY (we had this at a friend's wedding in Miami and we all started a kick line ) but I think it'd be so funny to use 'I've Had The Time of My Life' from Dirty Dancing since FH makes fun of me for knowing every line.

When we were on Cape Cod swimming (it's sort of shallow in the bay), I was like, 'The best place to do lifts is in the water.' Yeah, he almost drowned me at that point

The words go something like: Closing time, time for____________...you don't have to go home but you can't stay here.
