We did New York, New York also... but the FRANK SINATRA version since that is the one they play at Yankee Stadium when we WIN (and it kinda drove my Mets-loving husband mad )

I know NY NY has to be somewhere near the end. But I really like the idea of the Green Day song. Still have to think about this one.

Just so you know, the title is great but the song is a break-up song if you listen to the rest of the lyrics. Something to think about. The title is actually called Good Riddance (Time of Your Life). I dunno but a song called Good Riddance may not be a theme Id choose.

I'm guilty of using 'Last Dance'

BUT............

That was just to let everyone know that it was in fact the last dance.

I had the DJ start with 'Last Dance' and then I had him mix in 'Let's Get Loud' from Jennifer Lopez.

I wanted everyone to take advantage that it was the last dance and then PARTY HARDY for the last time.

I've loved going to weddings and slow dancing at the end of the night with FH...there's something so nice about ending a party that way....I think we are going to play 'Taking You Home' by Don Henley.

That's my first dance song!!!

I love that song!! I like the idea of NY, NY (we had this at a friend's wedding in Miami and we all started a kick line ) but I think it'd be so funny to use 'I've Had The Time of My Life' from Dirty Dancing since FH makes fun of me for knowing every line.

When we were on Cape Cod swimming (it's sort of shallow in the bay), I was like, 'The best place to do lifts is in the water.' Yeah, he almost drowned me at that point

We used 'What a Wonderful World' by Louie Armstrong. We had a lot of older people at our wedding and wanted to be sure they could dance the last dance - the floor was packed! And we wanted everyone to leave with a warm, happy feeling about the day.

We are using ' Somewhere over the rainbow'..The Hawaiin Version from 50 first dates.

I love love love that version of the song. We're using it for our unity candle lighting!

this is a possiblity for us.

We also love the song Same Old Lang Syne by Dan Fogelberg. While it's very 'christmas-y' it has special meaning to us. And we'd like to use it somewhere
