decided on a wedding color scheme. I originally wanted a fall theme and was going with fall colors but when we chose the girls dresses it was a deep purple which I was still going to incorporate into the fall colors in the flowers. But everything i keep seeing and liking is not falling into the color scheme.
So I though of my venue, my dress which I go for in 2 weeks and the girls dresses and it reminds me of one of my favorite things simple but elegant.
So I decided on Purple and Charcoal Grey. I'm meeting with florists this weekend and will pretty much be choosing calla lilies as my flowers unless they change my mind but I've been wanting them from the beginning.
I keep looking at everything and it just looks so beautiful I want to tear. Lol.
Sorry I was just too excited I had to share my simple but elegant theme. =)

Great color choices, and they have some gorgeous flowers in that color too! Calla lilies with purple orchids would look so pretty!

Looooove the gray + purple combo! I'm doing the same except with my girls in gray, then going purple flowers crazy! Congrats on the color scheme decision!

Sounds perfect for the fall. I saw a gorgeous MOB dress in those colors and couldn't stop adoring it. Congrats on the decision.

Very nice! Picasso calla lilies are the ones that are white with the purple middle. They might work nicely with your colors :)

Thanks Ladies. I'm definitely looking into the Picasso calla lilies for my bouquet. I was thinking for the girls I might do one purple calla lily and 2 white on the side of it tied with a ribbon and then mine would be the Picasso ones to incorporate the purple. For my matron of honor I'm going to have long stem calla lilies that will lay across her arm as she walks down the aisle.
