COngrats! Winter is awesome. I chose it not to save $$ (I'm not saving anything in december, unfortunately) but because I just LOVE the whole christmas season (despite being jewish, FH loves it too). The things I lovre arenlt necessaruly just christmasy. I love the snow, I love everything being lit up. I really want it to be like a winter wonderland. Even if there's light snow, my reception hall is right off the LIE and it's in Jericho Tpke, so it's all main roads which will be plowed. As long as there's no blizzard, it should be fine. I'm totally pshyced. I think the summer months are a gamble. You could plana spring.summer wedding to have pictures and stuff outdoors and then it could rain.
Anyway CONGRATS, felow winter bride. Can't wait to hear where you booked!
ETA: The nseezing thing- I didn't even think of it when picking my date, but it's SUCH a huge factor. For my sister's may wedding we were outside taking pictures on the grass and I got SOOO sick, it really killed a lot of my night..so you were really smart about the winter thing
