Finally A Little Something Happy!
We had our rehearsal dinner last night. There was amazing sangria and incredible food and margarita's!!!
I was so stressed about this stupid thing, but it was awesome. Not a SINGLE member of Rob's family showed up. Not ONE. But my family was there and our friends were there. And we felt so incredibly loved despite the obvious lack of people.
And you know what? It got chilly outside, so everyone moved indoors anyway! And there was PLENTY of room because his family wasn't there. So it worked out really well.
And my best friend said it perfectly. She said - 'Those who care are there. Don't let the people who don't care rent space in your head.'
Anyway. It wasn't what I imagined. But it was so much fun and it was a good pre-wedding lesson about how things don't have to be 'PERFECT' to be great.
