Finally accomplished some wedding details!

We finally started getting things accomplished with our wedding! We got so much done this past week!! In the process we changed our wedding colors from Red & Gold to Pink & Gold....go figure!

I got my wedding dress: A beautiful ivory, strapless ballroom style gown by Lazaro

Bridemaids dresses chosen: Lazaro strapless dresses in an antique rose color

I have my florist!! I didn't even look at anyone else (even though I had a list)! I went to him first and we instantly clicked! I knew this would happen! Anyone in Brooklyn who didn't choose their florist yet, I HIGHLY recommend James from B & R Florist. He is amazing and is so talented! He is definately a floral artist!! He will definately work with your budget.

I think I am going to make my own invitations so we are in the process of looking at samples and designing something together. I am shopping around for pocketfold prices.

Next week will be DJ and finish up newsletter to Bridal Party. I have to begin designing my chirstmas cards to family in Europe and include Save the Date Magnets with them.

I think I still have time for limos and tuxedos....

I am so happy we finally got the ball rolling! I am such a procrastinator.

Actually with that thought in mind, I need to begin getting prices for hotels in Manhattan and Long Island. Does anyone know if there are and Bed&Breakfast places by the Vanderbilt Mansion?

I am finally getting excited while I am getting things done!
