finally finished my invites :) got the pics to post

I ended up doing pocketfolds with rhinestone embellishments. I got the invite and pocketfold from MyGatsby. I got the Tiffany blue ribbon and cardstock from Paper Presentation and I got the buckles form Joanne's fabrics. It was a pain in the neck to put together -- Thank God for my mother -- she kicked butt :) We mailed them out this morning

Yeyyy!!! I know exactly how you feel...I did the same thing...my mom helped me big time... what a relief huh...

my mother was laid off and she just threw herself into the planning. She comes over everyday and we tackle the next item on my to do list. She also cooks for me and helps with the laundry while she's here

I think next week is fine -- I finished them earlier than I thought so I shipped them out. My RSVP date is 8-28, what's yours?

How did you have the envelopes printed? Did you do them yourself or take them to a printer? I love the border!

Thank you :) Actually they're not envelopes -- those are boxes. The rhinestone was breaking through the envelopes I bought.
I bought full sheet labels from Staples and then I used a text box in Word to create them. I fit two text boxes per page and then I used a paper cutter to make it even around the edges because the labels are 8 1/2 by 11 and I needed 7 1/2 across. I made the height of each label 5 inches. I used Edwardian Script from Microssoft.

I can email you the template if you like. FM with your email address and I'll send it over :)

Aww thanks! But I'm just doing envelopes. But now that I think of it, would it be stupid to put big ole labels on the envelopes? Hmmm.

you're right -- I'm working on three hours sleep. I had to get up at an unGodly hour today.
But you probably could do something similar (the border I mean) in the envelopes thing in Word.
