Hey Everyone thanks for your kind words last week.. My fiance and I found a brand new apt.. ten times better than the one we have..and its only .07 miles away from our old one... Our eccentric / crazy landlord will be upset.. but he is crazy and we need to leave.. and not have to worry about my dog and strangers coming into our apt..
I am just glad we are still going to live in a charming vintage house (a victorian) in Amity Harbor... I hope we can get out of staying the whole month.. ughh

That's awesome. Even if you have a lease, didn't he break it by bringing people in w/o your consent or knowledge? I hope everything works out for you!!

Yeah he lost the house due to not planning for his future retirement ( the guy is like 78) so he had to sell the house ( I don't feel bad for him at all) .. so he had us come move into the house in october knowing that he was going to start selling in Feb. (and did not mention this to us.. I found out later he did this because he was 'desperate for money!!!') Then we were ticked off, then he started bringing people into the apt.(without us knowing about it to look at our part of the house) and upsetting my dog so much one day that my dog hurt himself in the kennel he was in while 'strangers' were walking around in the house.. I ask our landlord to not bring people up unless we had prior knowledge ( because this is NY State Tenant law) and he says no ( LOL) and I traded some bad words with him.. and then my DH and me decided it was time to get the hell out.. So we found a lovely new place.. pretty much an abstee landlord.. and its over a antique jewlery store :) I can't wait !!!!: Oh boy and I am interested to see how this guy is going to react when we tell him we are leaving today..
