FH & I took a half day this Thursday &we are going to check out Chateau La Mer & Captain Bills. Feels good knowing we are finally getting this process going.

So exciting! They're both beautiful places. My sister got married at Chateau La Mer 7 years ago, it's a beautiful place and the food was delicious. I also went to a friend's wedding at Captain Bill's which was lovely. Have fun and let us know how it goes!

We went to 2 places, and the 2nd was the ONE. When you walk in, you will know! Best of luck

We really liked Chateau La Mer. We are going for a tasting on 1/9/13. That will really be the true test. Captain Bills was nice & they made a lot of new repairs but I did not like cocktail hour set up and felt the cocktail area was too small for the amount of people we are having. The hunt is still on! Feels good to finally be on the hunt! haha

I went to Bill's it was 75++ the room is nice but wasnt my type of place. Just an FYI they want a 3, 000 deposit. Seemed a little steep to me.

I saw Captain Bill's and it was around 85++ and I heard they suffered Sandy damage but that they will be back and better. Hope this helps :)
