Congrats on making progress with your photographers. We're also selecting our photographer now. We met with JayLim tonight and both FH and I really liked him and his work. We have an appt with J'adore Love on Sunday and then we'll make a decision.

I'm going to schedule an appointment with JayLim also. I never heard of J'adore Love before. Are those the only two you are looking at?

Yes, they are the only 2 we are meeting in person. I have a huge spreadsheet (FH calls me the spreadsheet queen). I created a list of all the photographers I wanted to check out - i gathered the list from brides reviews on liweddings, i then checked out their websites and based on the pics I saw, I selected finalists. I then called the finalists asked them a few questions (they're back up plan if photographer is ill, if they can email me an album of one couple's complete wedding - this way we can really see their work vs. their best shots and their pricing). FH and I reviewed the photos and pricing and then selected our finalists - JayLim and J'adore. FH does landsccape photography so he's pretty picky in this category. If you want I can send you my spreadsheet with the photographer's i checked out.

Also, wanted to say that JayLim has a lot of different pricing packages and they can modify the packages based on your needs. I saw you mention that you are a date twin

He has other photographers working with him as well, you can ask them to see albums of the other photographers as well when you go so you can get a sense of their work. We saw an album with other photographers and also liked their work. If you decide to use one of his other photographers I would ask to meet with them first just to make sure you feel comfortable with them. He was really nice so I'm sure they're all great. We are looking at hiring 2 photogs and using them for video as well.

You have FM! And unfortunatley a lot of it.. I had a hard time attaching the file for some reason. Please let me know if you have problems viewing it and I will resend or will resend it as word doc.
