finally have a church!

so after what seemed like forever, we got in touch with a pastor, who actually called us back! we set up an appointment, and went last night to meet him. he was sooo friendly, and funny. i felt really comfortable, although i was so nervous because he kept giving up little 'Tests' to see if we were ready to get married. but it wasnt to bad at all.

thankfully though he is willing to marry us, and the church is 2 minutes from my house. plus we dont have to take any of the premarital classes which is a blessing because we are so busy already. and if we join the church and attend a few times between now and our wedding date, the fee comes down 'substantially' he told us.. so looks like fh and i are going to become church goers!

i just feel like a huge weight has been lifted now that i have a church!

I know how you feel. I just booked mine yesterday too! Finally!

My priest made us feel guitly about not going to church every week...but we both work weekends.

So now we have to get more involved too lol.
