Finally Hired a DJ ...........

I hired In the Mix for my wedding. They want $795 for 6 hours. I didnt want favors or a light show.They are covering the ceremony , cocktail hour and the reception. Is that reasonable ? DOES ANYONE KNOW OF THEM OR HAVE HIRED THEM ??

Finally Hired a DJ ...........

That sounds reasonable however DJ Joey from Jam Entertainment is who I booked for $625. He's playing from 11:30am (prelude music) to 5:30pm for both the cocktail hour and dinner. I'm not doing giveaways or shows either. I haven't heard his tape but he comes highly recommended from this group.

Dreamy...when did you get this quote?

I got $650 for 5.5 hours, quoted in January, and we booked him. Did his price go up? FYI, I got great references from Three village inn and Sans Souci for DJ Joey. When is your wedding? If it's after mine (June 2002) I'll let you know how he was!

I got the quote about 3 weeks ago and I've booked him for $625 for November. I'm not sure why there's the $25 difference. Yes, please let me know how he is.
